Dear friends...

When you think about the border of Kerala and Tamilnadu, especially about the mixed culture of Tamil and Malayalam... our area Kozhinjampara have an very special importance...

And when we talk about the film field of Malayalam and Tamil languages, Kozhinjampara have a special significance more than any place..

Actually it has an unique status in the film circle...

In India, maybe in the world,  this is the only panchayat  have 8 cinema theatres in a local place, in a small area...

Because there are so many film fans.. really the fans of Malayalam and Tamil films in this area and the surrounding places...

Almost all the Malayalam and Tamil films are releasing in these theatres.. (Releasing Centre)

So many talented people interested in the film and literary field are in this area...

-- to unite the film fans in our area...

-- to introduce good and different films to the fans... especially films from other languages of India and popular world films...

-- to find and guide the talented peoples to enter into the film field...

-- to help everyone to know, to learn and to develop their talents...

-- to support one another...

we like to start a film club in our area..

For the last one year, we met and discuss many time about this...

and the result is  CHERAS FILM CLUB..

And we have decided to conduct a Cinema Seminar on the coming 11th October as the first program or the inaugural special program...

The seminar will be conducted on 11th October 2025, Saturday 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m...

at Dhanya digital studio (1st floor), Near Kozhinjampara Bus stand, Chittur Road, Palakkad..

In the seminar, there will be a class on 'Basics of Film and Film Making - chapter 1' 

and a discussion will be conducted on the subject after the class...

Then, the next plans and the works of the Cheras Film Club will be decided...

Entry fees for the seminar is fixed as Rs 200/-...

This is to bring the people really interested in the films and like to develop his area...

The amount collected will be the basic fund of the club for the future works...

And the persons coming together will be the basic strength for the future plans of the club...
