Hallo friends,

As to conduct 11^th Film Literature Confluence and 1^st Film Friendship Confluence on coming 13-7-13 Saturday, we are planning to postpone all other works up to that (including the developing of this site page, labels and topics). Now we are concentrating only on the confluence. So we will write articles about the confluences only up to the function.

We request you to send your suggestions and feedbacks to conduct the confluence more successfully and develop this site along with that. 

Kamalabala

Vijayan, the promoter of this site is working in the film industry for many years (see the bio-data). He is writing since the school days and came to film industry on 1996. Even though he is working in the film field with his own name Vijayan.B, he used to write books and other articles with pen name ‘Kamalabala’.

The literary works done by Kamalabala and the articels related to them will be posted here.

For the time being, the articles in this site is written in English( as to reach all the film and literature friends) Kamalabala is using the languages Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi to contact the friends in that fields. Some notes in particular language cannot be write, enjoy or understand fully when wrote   in English or other languages. (eg: Songs). And some can read and understand English, but cannot comment or write in English. They can communicate in their mother tongue. In those cases, the posts or comments will be written in those languages. And these are categorized in the pages Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi.

This site is started to make a platform to unite film and literature field together , and to make a friendship circle among the film personalities. We got the details of address, phone numbers etc from the public print media and the mails from the concerned persons to compile the friends circle and film directory. Literature

Cinema started as a short film when it was invented. Now many types of films like short film, documentary, corporate films are producing throughout the world countries. But usually the films based on fiction are called as cinema or film everywhere. And these films are based on the written scripts that are a category of literature. Still the cinema itself literature, most of the good and successful films are made out of the literature works.

So the literature and films should be interlinked always. And the need of that interlink is needed in our languages very much. Aim of the Film Literature Confluence is uniting both field by all means for this purpose.

Songs

The cinema was born and brought up in the western countries and become a business giant in the Hollywood. The cinema came to India in the beginning stage as usual in other countries. But Indians receive the cinema in different manner. They accept the cinema as a part of their life.

Indians add a new flavor to the cinema by adding songs. The songs became an integral part of Indian Cinema. And of course the songs became the identity of Indian cinema in the world. Now everyone in the world, even they didn’t know the meaning of lyrics, like to see Indian cinema with songs.

And songs are the one of the main reason for the success of Indian cinemas. No one can avoid songs from the film at any ground. So, we add a page for songs in this portal. (The details of labels under the articles will be posted will be noted soon)

Without writing about films the aim of filmfriendship.com will not be fulfilled. From news to reviews of the films will be posted here.

The current news about films under production, released, got reviewed will be added here up to date. Not only about new films, but also about the old films will be noted here as and when needed.

The posts will be useful for everyone who likes to know about films. Everything about films will be dealt here. Anyone can comment and share these articles. And the readers can also vote the reviews and other articles to express their opinions quickly.

Film Directory

Even compiling all address and details of film and literature friends in the friends circle, there are so many personalities in the field as our colleagues and other related people.

So many friends ask us the contact address or phone numbers often for some personalities, they have no personal contact with me. The friends asking me because we are conducting the film literature confluence and film friendship confluence, and they think that we know all the personalities.

Thus we found the need of a film directory for everyone in the field. Even the experienced managers also search for some phone numbers in shooting spot. So a new type directory is needed for all from new comers to experienced ones. And it should be more than a printed directory.

This Film Directory will be useful for all. We are compiling the address and phone numbers of all persons as well as film service companies and institutions. (The sample is posted for the time being and will be updated soon) Apart from friends, creators all the categories of film field will be added in the directory.    

The friends in the friends circle will be added in the directory. The persons not in the friends also will be listed in this directory. Not only the personalities themselves, but the associations and groups also can send the address and phone numbers of all personalities to filmfriedshipcentre@gmail.com. That will be added in the directory.

We are planning to compile directory of all film industries, starting from Tamil and Malayalam. This will be a success only if you all support and extend your help by all means. Hope this will be useful for all in the field and hope to get your help and feedback positively.

Friends Circle

… From Scripts to Screen… From Fans to Creators…

We started Film Literature Confluence to unite film field and literature field together and make a friendship circle in the film field. We had conducted the confluence ten times so far in the last two years.

Now we want to make this confluence useful for everyone joining this attempt. So we wish to continue the confluence every month uniting the creators and film students in any film institute or colleges where visual communication is taught. And we wish to conduct Film Friendship Confluence once in three months to make all producers, technicians all others with the creators and students.

By conducting Film Literature Confluence we got many new friends. Many persons came to the meetings or call me and appreciate my effort. But we couldn’t keep in touch with them continuously. I didn’t collect their details except the phone numbers.

The purpose of the confluence is to make a friendship among the film personalities and literary people. For that, everyone must have the access to reach one another. And for that purpose everyone should have a platform to get the contact numbers and know the details of all at any time.

These thoughts lead me to start this portal in the name www.filmfriendship.com. It is more than a mere directory. It is started to collect and post all details of film personalities and all details related to the film field and literature field.

This portal will give chance not only for the people already in the field. but also for the new comers to know and contact one another. And this special page FRIENDS CIRCLE is designed exclusively for that purpose. The details of everyone in the film and literature fields will be added here. (As a sample, details of a few personalities are added here). The personalities in all category  will be posted here.      

The posts can be added, corrected or updated at any time. This is the uniqueness  of this portal. Anyone can send the addition, correction or updates through mail to filmfriedshipcentre@gmail.com.
