பொழுதுபோக்கின் வரலாறு - தொடர்ச்சி..

மனிதனின் சிந்தனைகளை இவை மேலும் தூண்டிவிட்டன. பல பல புது கலை மற்றும் இலக்கிய படைப்புகள் உருவாயின. அவை மனிதனின் கற்பனை வளத்தை மேலும் வளர்க்க ஆரம்பித்தன. கலை இலக்கியங்களின் தூண்டுதலால் பல விஞ்ஞான கண்டுபிடிப்புகள் கூட உலகில் நிகழ ஆரம்பித்தன என்றால் மிகையாகாது.

மனிதனின் கற்பனையும் சிந்தனையும் புதுப்புது கனவுகளை தந்தது. கனவுகள் பல பரிசோதனை முயற்சிகளுக்கு தூண்டுகோலாக மாறியது. பரிசோதனை முயற்சிகள் புதிய கண்டுபிடிப்புகளுக்கு வழிவகுத்தது.

சில பரிசோதனை முயற்சிகள் எதை நினைத்து செய்யப்பட்டதோ அதே பாதையில் வெற்றிப்பாதையில் செல்ல, சில முயற்சிகள் எதிர்பாராத பல புதிய கண்டுபிடிப்புகளுக்கு வழி வகுத்தது.

புத்தம்புதிய எண்ணங்கள்! புதிய கண்டுபிடிப்புகள்!

இவைதான் விஞ்ஞானம் மற்றும் தொழில் நுட்பத்தில் பல துறைகளுக்கு வழிகளை திறந்துவிட்டது.

விஞ்ஞானமும் தொழில் நுட்பமும் வளர, புதிய புதிய கருவிகள் உருவாக, கலைகளும் இலக்கியங்களும் அந்த கருவிகளை தங்கள் வளர்ச்சிக்கு பயன்படுத்தி மேலும் பல பரிணாமங்களை கண்டது.

குகை ஓவியங்கள், தெருக்கூத்து, ஓலைச்சுவடி என ஆரம்பித்து சிற்பக்கலை, மேடை நாடகம், அச்சிட்ட புத்தகம் என வளர ஆரம்பித்தது.

இவை அனைத்துமே மனிதனின் பொழுது போக்குக்காகத்தான் உருவானது. இருப்பினும் சில ஞானிகள் தாங்கள் மனிதகுலத்திற்கு சொல்ல நினைத்ததை எளிமையாக சொல்ல இந்த பொழுதுபோக்கு சாதனங்களை பயன் படுத்த ஆரம்பித்தனர். இவற்றில் புதிய செய்திகளை உள்ளடக்கி அழகுடன் சொல்ல, அவை மேலும் பயனுள்ளதாக மாறியது. காவியங்களும் புராணங்களும் உருவாக ஆரம்பித்தது.

அவற்றில் அழகும் உள்ளடக்கமும் வலுப்பெற பல இதிகாசங்கள் உருவாகியது. இந்த காவியங்களும் புராணங்களும் இதிகாசங்களும் வெறும் பொழுதுபோக்கு என்பதை தாண்டி மனித சமுதாயங்களின் வளர்ச்சிக்கு வழிவகுத்தது.

அதன் தொடர்ச்சியாக வந்த நாடகங்கள் சமுதாய புரட்சிகளுக்கே உறுதுணையாக வளர்ந்தது என்பது இதில் மிகவும் குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

இதற்கு காரணம் இருந்தது. நாடகங்கள் மூலமாக மனிதர்கள் மனிதர்களுடன் நேரடியாக எண்ணங்களை பரிமாற முடிந்தது. வசனம், நடிப்பு, அரங்க அமைப்பு போன்றவை கூட இதில் முக்கிய பங்கு வகித்ததை அறிஞர்கள் புரிந்து கொண்டனர். அவற்றை மேலும் திறமையாக பயன் படுத்த ஆரம்பித்தனர். நாடகம்; என்ற இலக்கியத்தை நடனம் போன்ற கலைகளுடன் இணைத்து சிறந்த காட்சி ஊடகமாக மாற்றினார்கள்.

நாடகங்கள் உலகமெங்கம் வெகுவேகமாக வளர்ந்தது. பொழுதுபோக்கு என்ற பெயரிலேயே இவை சமூக அரசியலிலும் தாக்கத்தை ஏற்படுத்த ஆரம்பித்தது. இதை உணர்ந்துகொண்ட அறிஞர்கள் நாடகங்களை மென்மேலும் மெருகேற்ற விஞ்ஞான, தொழில்நுட்பங்களை பயன்படுத்த ஆரம்பித்தனர்.

இதற்கிடையில்தான் ஒளியை பதிவு செய்யும் தொழில்நுட்பம் கண்டுபிடிக்கப் பட்டது. கேமராவும் சினிமாட்டோகிராபியும் படிப்படியாக வளர்ந்தது.

ஆரம்பத்தில் சிறு சிறு சித்திரங்களையும், இயற்கை அழகையும் பதிவு செய்ய ஆரம்பித்தவர்கள் பிறகு மனிதனின் அசைவுகளை பதிவு செய்ய அரம்பித்தனர். அதில் வெற்றி பெற்றதும் நாடகங்களை படமாக பதிவு செய்ய ஆரம்பித்தனர்.

‘சினிமா’ வளர ஆரம்பித்தது!

இலக்கியங்களை நாடகங்களாக மாற்றி, அவற்றை பதிவு செய்வதற்காகவே நடித்துக்காட்ட ஆரம்பித்தனர். அப்படி படமாக்கிய படங்களைக்காண மக்கள் ஆரவம் காட்டினார்கள். நாடகங்களை பார்ப்பதைவிட படங்களை பார்ப்பதில் ஒரு புதிய சுகத்தை அனுபவித்தார்கள்.

‘சினிமா’ மக்களின் வாழ்க்கையில் ஒரு அங்கமாகவே மாறியது.

புராணங்களை தொடர்ந்து மற்ற எழுத்துக்களும் படமாக்கப்பட்டது. என்றும் புதுமைகளை விரும்பும் மனிதனுக்கு புராணங்கள் மட்டும் பார்த்தால் போதாது என்று தோன்றியது.

புதியதாக படம் எடுப்பதற்காகவே நாடகங்கள் எழுத ஆரம்பித்தனர். திரைப்படத்திற்காக புது புது உக்திகளை கையாண்டு, வசனங்களை விட காட்சிகளுக்கு முக்கியத்துவம் கொடுத்து எழுத ஆரம்பிக்க திரைக்கதை என்ற இலக்கியம் வளர ஆரம்பித்தது.

செய்திப்படங்கள், குறும்படங்கள், கதைப்படங்கள் என சினிமா வளர்ந்து விரிந்தது.

இந்த படங்களைக்காண மக்கள் ‘காசு’ கொடுக்க முன் வர ஆரம்பித்தனர். சினிமா என்ற ‘அதிசயத்தை’ வியாபாரமாக்கி திரைப்படத்தின் முன்னோடிகள் சம்பாதிக்க ஆரம்பித்தனர். அதைக்கண்ட பலரும் இந்த துறைக்கு வர ஆரம்பித்தனர்.

‘சினிமா’ என்பது ஒரு வர்த்தகமாக வளர்ந்தது. மற்ற அனைத்து கலைகளையும் இலக்கியங்களையும் தாண்டி பணம் சம்பாதித்து தரும் ஒரு துறையாக மாறியது.

தொடர்ந்து வந்த காலங்களில் கதைப்படங்கள் குறும்படங்களையும் செய்திப்படங்களையும் பின்னுக்கு தள்ளி பெறும் வர்த்தகமாக வளர, சினிமா என்றால் ‘கதைப்படங்கள்’ என்ற வர்த்தகப்படங்கள்தான் என்ற நிலை பரவலாக உருவாகியது.

திரைப்படத்தை தொடர்ந்து கண்டுபிடிக்கப்பட்ட தொலைக்காட்சியும் சினிமாவின் குழந்தையாகத்தான் வளர்ந்தது.

These enlight the thoughts of men more. So many many new arts and literary creations born. They develop the ability of men to imagine more. It is not an exaggeration that many scientific inventions are also made on the basis of arts and literature.  

The imaginations and thoughts of man gives many new dreams. That dreams become tools for many experimental efforts. That efferts give way for many inventions.

Some experiments gone successfully on the way in which the experiments are done. Some experiments give way for many unexpected inventions.

Many new thoughts! new inventions!

These made many branches for science and technology.

When the science and technology developed, many new instruments invented, arts and literature use that instruments for their growth and reach many new heights.

They start as cave arts, street plays, palm leaf writing and grew as sculpture arts, stage plays, printed books etc.

All these are made for the entertainment of human being. Still a few scholars used them as instruments to tell their ideas to the public in simple manner. When they use them with new messages beautifully, they become more useful. Masterpieces and classics are starts to exist.

When their beauty and content made more bold, they become epics. These master pieces, classics and epics gives not only mere entertainment but also give way for the development of manhood.  

Street and stage plays are the extension of these classics. Some plays are here to be noted that they were used for many social revolutions too.

There is a reason for that. These plays give a stage to convey the thoughts directly from a man to another one. The scholars understand that the dialogues, acting, background also had a big role in this. So, they used them more brilliantly. They unite the literary play with the arts like dances to make a better visual media.   

Plays developed throughout the world rapidly. Even in the name entertainment itlself, they made an impact on the social politics also. Understanding this, the scholars start to use the science and techonology to improvise the dramas.

In the meantime the technology to record the light had been invented. Camera and cinematography had been start to brought up.

In the beginning, man start to record a few tiny drawings and natural beauty. Then start to record the movements of men. And taste the success in it. So start to record the dramas.

‘Cinema’ started to develop.

Start to perform plays only to record the classics and epics. The public show interest to watch that films. They start to feel a new happiness to the films more than watching a stage play.

‘Cinema’ become a part of human life.

Following the epics other writings also started to filming. A man always like novelty, so he need seeing something more than the classics.

Start to wirte special play to make films. By starting to write, using many new techniques for films, give preference to visuals more than the dialouges, the literature branch ‘Screenplay’ start to deveolop.

Cinema grew and spread up like documentaries, short films and feature films.

The public start to go forward to see the films paying ‘money’ for it. So the pioneers of films made cinema a ‘wonder’ business and start to earn. Seeing this, many came forward to this field.

‘Cinema’ become a commercial market. This field become a business which earn more many than any art or literature.

In the later years, the feature films overtake the short films and documentaries. In short,  the word ‘film’ itself started to refer only for commercial feature films.

The television, that invented as an extension of cinema is brought up as a child of cinema.

பொழுதுபோக்கின் வரலாறு

பொழுதுபோக்கின் வரலாறு மனிதகுலத்தின் வரலாற்றை விட மிகவும் பெரியது. பரிணாம வளர்ச்சியில் மனிதன் தோன்றுவதற்கு முன்பே பொழுதுபோக்கு என்பது தோனறி, வளர்ந்து பல பரிணாமங்களை கடந்து வந்துள்ளது!

அனைத்து உயிரினங்களும் - பசியெடுக்கும் நேரம் மற்றும் உறங்கும் நேரம் தவிர - மற்ற நேரங்களில் தங்கள் பொழுதை கழிக்கவும் ஓய்வு நேரங்களில் சந்தோஷமாக இருக்க ஏதாவது வழிகளை பின்பற்றுவது உயிரனத்தின் மறபு. அதன் ஆரம்பம் தான் ஒருவருடன் ஒருவர் விளையாடுவது.

எந்த ஒரு உயிரினமாக இருந்தாலும் அது தன்னுடைய வாழ்ககை சூழ்நிலைக்கு ஏற்ப தனது இணையுடன் விளையாடுவது வழக்கம். அது தங்கள் காதலுக்காக இருக்கலாம். அல்லது தனது இணையை தன்பால் ஈர்ப்பதற்காக இருக்கலாம். சந்தோஷத்தை வெளிப்படுத்தும் ஆட்டமாக இருக்கலாம் அல்லது அவர்களுக்குள் நடக்கும் ஊடலாக கூட இருக்கலாம்.

தாய் தன் குழந்தைகளின் பசியாற்றிவிட்ட பின் தன் பாசத்தை வெளிப்படுத்துவது அவர்களுடன் விளையாட்டு காட்டித்தானே! இதில் பறவை என்றோ மிருகம் என்றோ மனிதன் என்றோ எந்த வேறுபாடும் இல்லையே.

ஏன் வேட்டையாடும் போது கூட சில உயிரினங்கள் அதை ஒரு விளையாட்டாகவே ரசித்து செய்வதுண்டு. உதாரணத்திற்கு பூனை எலியை பிடிப்பதை குறிப்பிடலாம்.

உயிரினங்கள் பூமியில் தோன்றிது முதல் இந்த விளையாட்டுக்கள் காலகாலமாக தொடர்ந்து கொண்டுதான் இருக்கிறது. 

உயிரினங்கள் தோன்றி எத்தனையோ கோடி ஆண்டுகள் பரிணாம மாற்றங்கள் ஏற்பட அந்த பரிணாம வளர்ச்சியின் ஒரு பகுதியாக குரங்கிலிருந்து மனிதன் பிறந்தான்.

உலகமெங்கும் மனிதன் தன் ஆதிக்கத்தை நிலைநாட்ட ஆரம்பித்தான். அதற்கு பரிணாம வளர்ச்சியால் பெற்றெடுத்த சிந்திக்கும் திறனை பயன்படுத்த துவங்கினான். வெற்றி பெறவும் ஆரம்பித்தான். உலகில் உள்ள அனைத்து இடங்களையும் உயிரினங்களையும் கட்டுப்படுத்தி தன் ஆதிக்கத்தை உறுதி செய்தான். 

மனிதகுலம் வளர்ச்சி அடைய அடைய அவன் உள்ளுக்குள் இருந்த பல மிருக குணங்களும் காலத்திற்கு ஏற்ப வளர ஆரம்பித்தது. மேற்சொன்ன விளையாட்டுக்களும் அதற்கு ஏற்றபடி பரிணாம வளர்ச்சி பெற்றது.

மனிதன் தன் புத்திசாலித்தனத்தை உணவுக்காக வேட்டையாடுவதில் மட்டுமல்ல, மற்ற உயிரினங்கள் மீதும், மற்ற மனிதர்கள் மீதும் தன் ஆதிக்கத்தை நிலைநாட்டவும் பயன்படுத்தினான்.

ஓய்வு நேரங்களில் மட்டுமன்றி வேட்டையாடும்போது கூட அதை சந்தோஷமாக ரசித்து செய்ய ஆரம்பித்தான். தன் புத்திசாலித்தனத்தை விளையாடுவதிலும் காட்ட புதிய புதிய விளையாட்டுகள் பிறந்தது.

ஒருவன் கண்டுபிடித்த ஆட்டத்தில் ஒருவித சந்தோஷம் இருப்பதைக் கண்டதும் மற்றவர்களும் அதை பின்பற்ற ஆரம்பித்தனர். அப்படி விளையாட்டுக்களும் மனிதர்களைப் போலவே உலகமெங்கும் இடம் பெயற ஆரம்பித்தன. அதை மீண்டும் மெருகேற்றவும் மீண்டும் தொடர்ந்து ரசிக்கவும் செய்திட சில வரைமுறைகளை ஏற்படுத்த ஆரம்பித்தான்.

இதுதான் உலகில் உள்ள அனைத்து விளையாட்டுகளின் அடிப்படையாக இருக்கிறது.

அந்த காலத்தில் எல்லா விளையாட்டுக்களும் மனிதர்களின் உடல்பலத்தை அடிப்படையாகக் கொண்டே வரையறுக்கப்பட்டு வந்தன. சிலர் வேகத்தை அடிப்படையாகக் கொண்டு விளையாட ஆரம்பித்தனர்.

இதுபோன்ற ஆட்டங்களால் ஈர்க்கப்படாத சிலர் இயற்கையின் அழகை ரசிப்பதில் அதே பொழுதுபோக்கையும் சந்தோஷத்தையும் காண ஆரம்த்தார்கள்.

சிலர் இயற்கையில் காணும் வண்ணங்களையும் ஒளி வடிவங்களையும் அதன் அழகையும் ரசிக்க ஆரம்பிக்க, சிலர் இயற்கையில் கேட்ட வெவ்வேறு ஒலிகளை ரசிக்க ஆரம்பித்தனர்.

தான் கண்ணால் கண்டு ரசித்ததை மனிதன் தன் மனதில் பதியவைக்க முயற்சித்தான். அவற்றை மணலில் வரைந்து பார்க்க முயற்சித்தான். சிலர் சிறு கற்களால் பாறைகளில் வரைய முயற்சி செய்தனர்.

ஒலிகளை ரசித்தவர்கள் தங்கள் குரலால் இயற்கையில் கேட்ட ஒலிகளை பின்பற்ற முயற்சித்தனர்.

கல்லிலும், மரங்களிலும் ஒலிகள் எழுப்பி இயற்கையில் கேட்ட ஒலிகளை பின்பற்றவும் புதுமையான ஒலிகளை எழுப்பவும் முயற்சித்தனர்.

இப்படியாக பூமியில் ஓவியங்களும் இசையும் தோன்ற ஆரம்பித்தது.

மனிதர்கள் தங்கள் எண்ணங்களை மற்றவர்களுக்கு பரிமாற ஒலிகளை பயன்படுத்தினர். தன் இணையை காதலிக்க, தன் தாய் அல்லது மற்ற உறவுகளிடம் பாசத்தைகாட்ட தங்கள் வாயிலிருந்து வரும் ஒலிகளை பயன்படுத்த ஆரம்பித்தனர்.

இதுதான் மொழிகளின் பிறப்பாக மாறியது.

சிலர் தங்கள் உடல் அசைவுகளால் எண்ணங்களை பரிமாற முற்பட்டனர். அவற்றை முறைபடுத்த சில அசைவுகளை குறியீட்டாக தொடர்ந்து பின்பற்றினர். இப்படித்தான் நடனம் போன்ற கலைகள் உருவாயின.

பலவித விளையாட்டுக்களும் நடனங்களும் மற்ற பொழுதுபோக்கு நிகழ்ச்சிகளும் உருவாகி வளர, அவற்றை மக்கள் ஒன்று கூடி அரங்கேற்றி ரசிக்க ஆரம்பித்தனர். அதன் வழியாக உலகில் வாழும் மனிதர்களின் ஒவ்வொரு குழுக்களுக்கும் தங்களுக்கே உரித்தான உற்சவங்களும் விழாக்களும் உருவாக ஆரம்பித்தன.

இந்த விளையாட்டுக்களையும் நடனங்களையும் விழாக்களையும் ஓவியர்கள் தங்கள் ஓவியங்களுக்கு கருக்களாக எடுத்தாள ஆரம்பித்தனர். அவை சரித்திர ஏடுகளாக மாறியது. கலை மற்றும் பண்பாட்டுச் சின்னங்களாக உலகில் நிலைபெற்றது.

மொழிகள் வளர்ச்சி பெற உலகில் பல இடங்களில் நாகரீகங்கள் தோன்ற ஆரம்பித்தன. அதை பின்பற்றி பலவிதமான கலைகளும் இலக்கியங்களும் உருவாயின.

History of Entertainment

The history of entertainment is lengthier than the history of human beings. In the development line of evolution the entertainment evolved and went on through many changes, even before manhood arise in the world.

As a character of life all the living beings used to follow something to pass the time and to make the leiture time joyful aal the time but sleeping time and hunger time. One playing with other is the beginning of that.

Any living being will play with his partner according to the living circumstances. That may be for their love. Or it may be to attract towards him. May be a play to express the happiness or may be a sweet clash between them.

Even a mother will show her love on her children after feeding them! There is no difference in animal or birds in this regard.

Even some living beings used to play with their prey when they hunt for them. We can see a cat catching a rat as an example for that.

Since the living beings rised in this world, these plays are going on continuously.

After many million years of evolution since the living being start to live in this world, human veing born from mankeys.

The man starts to implement his power throughout the world. For that, he used the power to think got from the evolution. Start to won also. He controlled all the palces and all other species under his power.

As the human race start to developing, many animal charecters inside him also started to deveop according to the time. The plays noted above also start evolve according to that.

Man used his brilliancy not only for hunting to get food, but also to prove his control over the other species and other human beings.

Apart from leiture time, he used to enjoy the play even when hunting. When he show his brilliancy in plays, many new plays start to formed. That become sports.

When seeing happiness in a sport found by one man, others also start to follow that. Thus, sports started to spread throughout the world like human beings. To improvise them and to enjoy continuously, start to put some rules and regulations for that.

This is the basis of all sports in this world.

In that period, all the sports were based on the body power of human beings. A few start to play on the basis of speed also.

Some people, who didn’t attracted by these sports start to pass the time by enjoying the beauty of nature.

When a few start to enjoy the colours and shades of light in the nature, another few start to enjoy the various sounds heard from this nature.

The man tried to keep in mind what he see through the eyes. Tried to draw them in the sand. A few tried to draw them on rocks using some small stones.

Who enjoy the sounds, tried to recreate the sounds themselves.

They tried to make sounds on stones and trees and tried to follow the sound of nature and to make new sounds.

In this way, drawings and music start to evolve in this world.

Men used the sounds to convey their thoughts to others. They used the voices came from their  mouth to love their partners, to show love on mother or other relatives.

This became the birth of languages

A few tried to convey their thoughts through their body movements. To regularize them, they used some movements as to indicate something. The arts like dance evolved in this manner.

Many sports, dances and entertainment programmes evolved and developed. The human beings join as crowds and start to make stages to enjoy them. Thus, many festivals and meets start to rise among the different groups in different style.   

The artists take the these sports, dances and festivals as content for their drawings. That become historical records. Become the symbol of civilizations in this world and become immortal.  

As the languages developed, many civilizations formed in many places of world. Many arts and literature were developed following them.

Preface

I am one among the lakhs of youth came to Chennai with the dream of a success in the film industry. Basically I am a writer. Sreenplay writing is my favourite. Still I decided to become a director and started to travel in that route, because I understand the status of writers in Tamil film world.

I had worked as assistant and then associate in screen writing and direction with many directors in Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and Kannada languages. In the meantime sincerely worked as writer of censor script and as an assistant ot production managers.

So I leraned to write screenplays, read and speak the four southern languages, English and Hindi. And learned the works of a producer along with the works of a director. All the directors whom I worked as an associate are producers cum directors. That help and encourage me in this matter.

This experience only brings an idea in my mind to produce and direct my debut film. That thought itself barred my mind from approaching other producers for chance or to work hard to reach them. Sometimes I thought that I should tell a story to other producers and sek direction chance, because of circumstances. But didn’t try heartfully. Some questions rised in my mind and the answers I got for them only make me like that. The result of questions and answers is this ‘Producers Group Production’.   

I want to tell the producers all that I learned, search and found, want to implement. But I had a doubt that whether I could tell what I thought in mind fully as they can understand or can I tell fully everytime I told. So I decided to write the main things in short. Really I can write books on each topic noted in this. Still I think it is better to write all in short for the time being. This book is the result of that thought.

 I didn’t access my ability till date. I can read, write and speak Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi and English. I can make a screenplay from a story in rocket speed. I am confident that I will be one among the top ten screen writers in India.

Still I didn’t tried to become a screen writer. That is my weakness. I think it is better to become a fulltime writer only after became a director. This is the only reason for my weakness.

Now there is no doubt that I will win as writer, director and producer through this project and I will work in this three routes continuously.

I need your wishes and friendship for that. That is the help I request from you.

முகவுரை

திரைத்துறையில் வெற்றிபெற வேண்டும் என்ற கனவோடு சென்னைக்கு வந்த லட்சக்கணக்கான இளைஞர்களில் நானும் ஒருவன். அடிப்படையில் நான் ஒரு எழுத்தாளன். திரைக்கதை எழுதுவதுதான் எனக்கு கைவந்த கலை. இருப்பினும் தமிழ் திரையுலகில் எழுத்தாளருக்கு இருக்கும் மரியாதையை அறிந்ததனால் இயக்குநராக எண்ணி அதற்கான பாதையில் பயணத்தை தொடர்ந்தேன்.

கடந்த 18 வருடங்களில் தமிழ், மலையாளம், தெலுங்கு மற்றும் கன்னட மொழிகளில் பல இயக்குநர்களிடமும் திரைக்கதை எழுதுவதிலும் இயக்குவதிலும் உதவியாளனாகவும் இணை இயக்குநராகவும் பணிபுரிந்தேன். இடைப்பட்ட நேரங்களில் சென்சார் ஸ்க்ரிப்ட் எழுதுவதில் துவங்கி தயாரிப்பு நிர்வாகிகளின் உதவியாளனாகவும் மொழிபெயர்ப்பாளனாகவும் பல பணிகளில் ஆர்வத்துடன் ஈடுபட்டேன்.

அதனால் நான்கு தென்னக மொழிகளிலும் ஆங்கிலத்திலும் ஹிந்தியிலும் திரைக்கதை எழுதவும் படிக்கவும் பேசவும் கற்றுக்கொண்டேன். அத்துடன் இயக்குநராக செய்ய வேண்டிய பணிகளுடன் தயாரிப்பாளர் செய்ய வேண்டிய பணிகளையும் கற்றுக்கொண்டேன். நான் உதவியாளனாக பணியாற்றிய இயக்குநர்கள் அனைவரும் தயாரிப்பாளர் மற்றும் இயக்குநர்களாக இருந்தது இந்த விஷயத்தில் எனக்கு மிகவும் உதவியாகவும் தூண்டுதலாகவும் இருந்தது.

நான் முதன் முதலில் இயக்குநராக பணியாற்றும் போது அந்த படத்தை தயாரித்து இயக்கவேண்டும் என்ற எண்ணத்தை எனக்குள் விதைத்தது இந்த அனுபவம் தான். அதனாலேயே இன்னொரு தயாரிப்பாளரிடம் வாய்ப்புத்தேடுவதற்கோ, அதற்கான தீவிர முயற்சிகளில் ஈடுபடவோ என் மனம் என்னை அனுமதிக்க வில்லை. பல நேரங்களில் சூழ்நிலைகளை எண்ணி பிற தயாரிப் பாளர்களிடம் ஒரு கதையைச்  சொல்லி படத்தை இயக்கும் வாய்ப்பை பெற ஆசைப்பட்டதுண்டு. ஆனால் முழு மனதுடன் முயற்சி செய்ய முடியவில்லை. இதற்கு காரணம் திரைப்படத் தயாரிப்பு பற்றி என் மனதில் எழுந்த பல கேள்விகளும் அதற்கு கிடைத்த பதில்களும்தான். அவற்றின் தொகுப்புதான் இந்த ‘தயாரிப்பாளர்கள் கூட்டுத் தயாரிப்பு’.

இதைப்பற்றி நான் கற்றுக்கொண்ட, தேடி அறிந்து கொண்ட, செயல்படுத்த திட்டமிட்ட அனைத்தையும் தயாரிப்பாளர்களிடம் சொல்ல விரும்புகிறேன். ஆனால் என் மனதில் தோன்றியவற்றை முழுவதுமாக ஒவ்வொருவரிடமும் சொல்லி புரியவைக்க முடியுமா, அல்லது ஒவ்வொரு முறையும் முழுவதையும் சொல்ல முடியுமா என்ற சந்தேகம் எழுந்தது. அதனால் சொல்ல வேண்டிய விஷயங்களில் முக்கியமானவற்றை முதலில் சுருக்கமாக தொகுத்து எழுத முடிவு செய்தேன். உண்மையில் இதில் குறிப்பிட்ட எல்லா தலைப்புகள் பற்றியும் தனித்தனியாகவே ஒவ்வொரு புத்தகம் எழுத முடியும். இருப்பினும் முதல் படியாக அனைத்தையும் சுருக்கமாக எழுதுவதுதான் நல்லது என தோன்றியது. அதன் பலன்தான் இந்த புத்தகம்.

இதுவரை என்னுடைய பலம் பற்றி நான் மதிப்பீடு செய்ததில்லை. எனக்கு மலையாளம், தமிழ், தெலுங்கு, கன்னடம், ஹிந்தி மற்றும் ஆங்கில மொழிகளில் பேசவும் படிக்கவும் எழுதவும் தெரியும். ராக்கெட் வேகத்தில் ஒரு கதையை திரைக்கதையாக மாற்றுவதற்கான வேலைகளை செய்ய முடியும். இந்திய அளவில் சிறந்த பத்து திரைக்கதை எழுத்தாளர்களை பட்டியலிட்டால் அதில் என் பெயரும் வரும் என்ற நம்பிக்கை இருக்கிறது.

இருந்தும் இதுவரை முழுநேர திரைக்கதை எழுத்தாளராக முயற்சிக்காதது என்னுடைய பலவீனம் தான். ஒரு இயக்குநராக மாறியதற்கு பிறகுதான் முழுநேர எழுத்தாளன் ஆக பணியாற்ற வேண்டும் என்ற எண்ணம் தான் இதற்கு காரணம்.

தற்பொழுது இந்த திட்டத்தின் மூலமாக எழுத்தாளர், இயக்குநர் மற்றும் தயாரிப்பாளராக வெற்றி பெற்று மூன்று நிலையிலும் தொடர்ந்து பணியாற்றுவேன் என்பதில் ஐயம் இல்லை.

இதற்கு தேவை உங்கள் அனைவரது ஆசியும் நட்பும். அதைத்தான் நான் உங்களிடமிருந்து உதவியாக வேண்டுகிறேன்.

இந்த புத்தகத்தையே ஒரு சிறு விண்ணப்பமாக ஏற்று, இந்த தயாரிப்பாளர் கூட்டுத் தயாரிப்பில் இணைந்திட, திரைத்துறைக்கு உங்களால் முடிந்த சேவையை புரிய, திரைத்துறையில் நீங்களும் வெற்றிபெற அழைக்கிறேன்.

Tribute

Being an ordinary associate director if I am conducting the Film Literature Confluence successfully for the last three years and resady to conduct the third aaniversary, this success is not only happened because of my hard work but also with the help and encouragement of many.

All the guests and friends participate in the confluences conducted so farwithout any anticipation from me but to encourage my new attempt. Most of the time, I couldn’t serve even a tea for them. Still they showered the love on me. There is no comparison for that. That love and encouragement only give me power to move forward. I am always obliged to thank them. 

I couldn’t leave specifyiing the help of the late Director Sri Balumahendra. He was the first guest of Film Literature Confluence. Usually any special guest will participate only when invited by the organisers of the function properly.

I had decided to conduct the first confluence only without inviting any special guest. Then I send my assistant to spread the invitation to the film students. On the wae one of my assistant went to the film instituteof Balumahendra also. He saw the invitation and talk to myassistant himself. And agree to participate in the confluence! Then only I start to invite other special guests.

Many of us talk that the films and the literature should be united. But most of them will hesitate to attend the function if anyone take a small a step like this. In this situation, Balumahendra agree to participate even without knowing me, who conduct the function. I don’t know how to praise him.

Next person I want to note specifivaly is Sri R.C.Sakthi. When I went to invite him, he agreed to attend the function. That is not a great thing, But, on the day of function, he had to attend dialysis treatment for himself in the morning. Still he came to the function in the evening on time. Usually everyone tell reason to avoid such function, if they suffer from common cold. But he came to the function even in that health stage. How can I praise him!

I got surprised seeing the love of these persons towards the good films, their affection with the literature and their efforts to unite the both. These are my special guest among the guest! I had now words to thank them.

The success of Film literature Confluence only giving me the strength to take the next step like this.

As a Ekalavya, I am putting this book as a tribute to that Dhranachaaryas.

காணிக்கை

ஒரு சாதாரண இணை இயக்குநரான நான் இந்த திரைப்பட இலக்கியச் சங்கமத்தை ஆரம்பித்து தொடர்ந்து வெற்றிகரமாக நடத்தி, தற்பொழுது மூன்றாவது ஆண்டு விழாவை நடத்த தயாராகிறேன் என்றால் இந்த வெற்றிக்கு காரணம் என்னுடைய உழைப்பு மட்டுமல்ல. பலருடைய உதவியும் ஊக்கமும் ஒத்துழைப்பும்தான்!

இதுவரை நடந்த சங்கமங்களில் கலந்துகொண்ட சிறப்பு விருந்தினர்கள், நண்பர்கள் அனைவரும் எந்த பிரதிபலனும் எதிர்பார்க்காமல் என் முயற்சியை ஊக்கப்படுத்த வந்தார்கள். அவர்களுக்கு சிலநேரங்களில் டீ கூட கொடுக்க என்னால் முடிந்ததில்லை. இருந்தாலும் அவர்கள் என்மீது காட்டிய அன்பிற்கு இணையே கிடையாது. அந்த அன்பும் பாராட்டும் தான் என்னுடைய அடுத்தகட்ட முயற்சிகளுக்கு ஊக்கம் தந்து கொண்டிருக்கிறது. அவர்கள் அனைவருக்கும் நான் என்றென்றும் நன்றி சொல்ல கடமைப்பட்டுள்ளேன்.

இவர்களில் மறைந்த இயக்குநர் திரு பாலுமகேந்திரா அவர்களுடைய உதவியை குறிப்பிட்டு சொல்லாமல் இருக்க முடியாது. திரைப்பட இலக்கியச் சங்கமத்தின் முதல் சிறப்பு விருந்தினர் இவர்தான். வழக்கமாக எந்த ஒரு சிறப்பு விருந்தினரும் விழா நடத்துபவர்கள் அழைத்தால் மட்டுமே வந்து சிறப்பிப்பார்கள்.

சிறப்பு விருந்தினர்களாக யாரையும் அழைக்காமல்தான் நான் திரைப்பட இலக்கியச் சங்கமத்தின் முதல்சங்கமத்தை நடத்த முடிவெடுத்தேன். பிறகு மற்ற திரைப்படக் கல்லூரி மாணவர்களுக்கு அழைப்பிதழ் அனுப்பினேன். அப்படியே என்னுடைய உதவியாளர் மூலமாக பாலுமகேந்திரா சினிமாப்பட்டறைக்கும் பொதுவாக அழைப்பிதழை கொடுத்தனுப்பினேன். அதை பார்த்த திரு பாலுமகேந்திரா அவர்கள் என்னுடைய உதவியாளரை அழைத்துப்பேசி தானாகவே இந்த சங்கமத்திற்கு வர ஒப்புக்கொண்டார்! அதன்பிறகுதான் நான் மற்ற விருந்தினர்களை அழைக்க ஆரம்பித்தேன்.

திரைப்படமும் இலக்கியமும் இணைய வேண்டும் என்று பலரும் பேசுவார்கள். ஆனால் இதுபோன்ற ஒரு சிறு முயற்சி எடுத்தால்,  அதற்கு அழைத்தாலே வந்து பங்கு பெற பலரும் தயங்குவார்கள். அப்படியிருக்க, அழைக்காமலேயே, இந்த சங்கமத்தை நடத்தும் நான் யார் என்றுகூட தெரியாமலேயே இந்த சங்கமத்திற்கு வர ஒப்புக் கொண்ட அவரை எப்படி பாராட்டுவது என்று தெரியவில்லை.

அடுத்ததாக நான் குறிப்பிடவேண்டிய மிக முக்கியமானவர் திரு ஆர்.சி.சக்தி அவர்கள்! இவரை நான் நமது சங்கமத்திற்கு அழைக்கச் சென்றபோது வர சம்மதித்தது பெரிய விஷயமல்ல. ஆனால் சங்கமத்திற்கு வரும்நாளில் காலையில் அவருக்கு டயாலிசிஸ் என்ற சிகிச்சை நடந்தது. அப்படியிருந்தும் அவர் விழாவுக்கு சொன்னபடி வந்தார்! இதுபோன்ற நிகழ்வுகளுக்கு வராமல் இருக்க ஜலதோஷம் பிடித்தாலே அதை காரணமாக சொல்வது பொதுவான வழக்கம்தான். அப்படியிருக்க இந்த நிலையில் இவர் என் நிகழ்வுக்கு வந்ததை எப்படி பாராட்டுவது!

நல்ல படங்கள் மீது இவர்கள் கொண்ட அன்பு, இலக்கியத்தின் மீது இவர்கள் கொண்ட ஆசை,  இவை இரண்டையும் இணைப்பதற்காக இவர்கள் காட்டிய அக்கறை, இவற்றைக்கண்டு  வியந்தேன். இவர்கள் எமது சிறப்பு விருந்தினர்களில் சிறப்பு விருந்தினர்கள்! அதற்கு நன்றி சொல்ல வார்த்தைகளால் முடியாது.

திரைப்பட இலக்கியச் சங்கமத்தின் வெற்றிதான் அதன் அடுத்த கட்டமாக இப்படி ஒரு முயற்சி செய்ய எனக்கு ஊக்கம் தருகிறது.

அந்த துரோணாச்சாரியர்களுக்கு ஒரு ஏகலைவனாக நான் இந்த நூலை காணிக்கையாக சமர்ப்பிக்கின்றேன்.
